Brenda Wambui
Brenda Wambui is a young, Kenyan woman consultant, researcher, and public speaker working at the intersections of technology, digital media, governance, and feminism. She is an MSc Candidate in Public Policy and Administration at the London School of Economics. Previously, she hosted and produced Otherwise?, one of Kenya’s biggest and longest-running podcasts, whose focus is policy, current affairs, and active citizenship. She also published the online weekly journal Brainstorm. She co-published four e-books in 2014 on Kenyan feminisms, mental health, security, and what it means to be at home in Kenya. She has been recognized as an Ashoka – AMEX Emerging Innovator and is an Acumen Fellow. She also served as an advisor at FRIDA | The Young Feminist Fund.
